Thank you for choosing Purrfect Pawradise for your pet's grooming needs! We strive to provide a safe, stress-free, and professional grooming experience for your pet in the comfort of your driveway. Please review our policies carefully before booking.

Mobile Grooming Services Policies!!

1. Appointment Scheduling & Cancellations

  • Booking: Appointments can be made online, by phone, or via email. We recommend scheduling at least 48 hours in advance.
     

  • Cancellations:
     

    • We require 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
       

    • Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance = 50% cancellation fee.
       

    • No-shows or same-day cancellations = 100% charge of the full grooming fee.
       

 

2. Security Deposit Policy

  • Please note that a $50 deposit of your service is required to secure all grooming appointments.
     

  • This deposit is credited toward your final bill.
     

  • It is non-refundable if:
     

    • You cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice.
       

    • You no-show or are unavailable upon arrival.
       

    • You alter or refuse services after arrival.
       

 

3. Matted Pet Policy

Pets with matted fur require special care and pose a higher risk of injury, stress, or skin issues.

  • If your pet has mild matting, we may attempt to de-mat them for an additional fee, depending on severity and time.
     

  • In cases of severe matting, a complete shave-down may be necessary for the pet’s safety with additional fees added.
     

  • We will not attempt de-matting that causes unnecessary pain or distress to the animal.
     

  • By booking with us, you understand and accept the potential for skin irritation, cuts, or redness resulting from mat removal.
     

  • We may ask you to sign a matting release form before proceeding.
     

 

4. Flea & Tick Policy

To protect all clients and our grooming environment:

  • If your pet is found to have fleas or ticks, a mandatory flea bath will be given with an additional charge.
     

  • You will be notified immediately, and if you choose not to proceed, the appointment will be canceled and deposit forfeited.
     

  • Please inform us in advance if you suspect fleas or ticks so we can take appropriate precautions.
     

 

5. Senior Pets & Puppies

We love working with pets of all ages! However, senior dogs and puppies often require extra time and care.

  • Senior pets (7+ years) and puppies under 6 months may experience stress during grooming. We prioritize their safety and may adjust or limit services based on their comfort level.
     

  • For the safety of aging pets, we may skip services such as nail grinding, full body drying, or long sessions if your pet shows signs of distress.
     

  • If your puppy or senior pet becomes too stressed or aggressive, we may stop the session early — partial charges will apply.
     

  • A gentle-handling fee may be added based on the additional care or time required.
     

 

6. Service Duration & Expectations

  • Grooming Duration: Grooming is a process, and the time required can vary depending on your pet's size, coat condition, temperament, and services requested. While most sessions typically last up to 2 hours, it can sometimes take longer based on the complexity of the grooming and your pet’s behavior.
     

  • Please ensure someone is available at the start and end of the appointment.
     

  • If we arrive and cannot safely access or groom your pet within 15 minutes, the appointment will be canceled and deposit forfeited.
     

 

7. Health & Safety Requirements

  • Pets must be in generally good health, and you must disclose any medical issues prior to the appointment.
     

  • All pets must be current on the rabies vaccination. While not mandatory, we strongly recommend that your pet be fully vaccinated with all core vaccines to ensure their health and protection. Must show proof of rabies vaccine via certified vet record, photo copy, or email copy at the start of appointment. We will not accept rabies tag.

 

  • Post-Vaccination Policy: For the safety and well-being of your pet, we do not perform grooming services on the same day your pet receives vaccinations. Pets may experience soreness or potential vaccine reactions that can affect their comfort and safety during grooming. We require that you wait at least 24 hours after vaccinations before booking a grooming session.
     

  • We reserve the right to refuse service if a pet is found to be too aggressive, too sick, or a danger to our groomers.
     

 

8.  Pets Requiring Extra Time/Special Handling Due to Behavior

We understand that some pets need extra care and time due to anxiety, aggression, or behavioral issues. If your pet requires additional handling or takes longer to groom because of their behavior, an extra time fee will be applied.

  • Behavioral Issues: If your pet is anxious, fearful, or aggressive, they may require longer sessions to complete grooming safely. This may include extra time for breaks or additional handling to calm your pet.
     

  • Extra Time Fee: An additional Special Handling fee per session may be added depending on the severity of the behavior and the time needed to complete grooming.
     

  • Aggressive or Unsafe Behavior: If your pet shows aggression (such as biting, growling, or extreme panic) that could put our groomers or your pet at risk, we may stop the session for safety reasons. A partial charge will apply for any services rendered before the session is halted.
     

  • Calming Treatments: If your pet requires extra sedation or calming techniques, please let us know in advance so we can accommodate them safely.
     

  • Communication: Please provide us with information regarding your pet's behavior prior to the appointment so we can prepare adequately for a safe and stress-free session.

 

9. Mobile Access Requirements

  • Please ensure a safe, level parking space is available within 100 feet of your home.
     

  • Our van is fully self-contained (water/electricity). We do not require hookups.
     

  • Please leash or contain your pet before our arrival.
     

 

10. Pricing & Payments

  • Pricing depends on breed, size, coat condition, temperament, and services requested.
     

  • You’ll receive a price estimate before grooming; final charges may vary if additional time, products, or handling is needed.
     

  • We accept Cash or Zelle.
     

  • Tips are optional but appreciated.
     

 

11. Photos & Social Media

  • We may take before/after photos of your pet to share on our social media and website.
     

  • If you prefer we do not use your pet’s photos, just let us know in advance.
     

 

12. Liability Disclaimer

  • While we take every precaution to ensure your pet’s comfort and safety, grooming involves tools, water, and physical handling.
     

  • By booking, you agree to hold Purrfect Pawradise LLC  harmless for any injuries, skin conditions, or allergic reactions that may occur unless caused by direct negligence.
